Long live Godzilla!!!

Years of wishing and hoping to own an R32 GTR "Godzilla" quickly disappeared after test driving a handful of examples (in white of course).

These included models from 1990-1994 Vspec and non-Vspec, factory standard and mildly tuned models.

There was even a white V-spec II model but with a price tag of $32,000! was just overpriced and way out of budget :(

Now, comparing the R32's price and age to the only '95 R33 GTR model I had test driven, it was a clear winner!

The interior of the R33 was not as out of date as the R32. It just looked modern compared to the boxy lines of the R32 (as seen below).

The overall condition of the exterior was uncomparable. Although I love the look of the R32 GTR's, the 33's paint was immaculate with no fading whatsoever.

So after a few minutes on the phone with Jen (Boxing day 2006) , we decided to make an offer to purchase the 33.

These are the first pics of the car that Ive decided to buy after selling my WRX in early 2004. Sorry, but the Barina and Astra in between do not count :) coz they're Jen's babies.

Notice the number plates? I prematurely ordered the plates "GTR-302" because of my obssessions with the R32 GTRs.

Specs? 1995 #2600 GTR as per VIN - rb26dett with factory 206kw - 89000klms - Trust Gracer air filters - catback exhaust - Nismo front spoiler......rest is as is from the factory.
