Air Flow Meter - GTR303

Ive decided to make the GTR a reliable car rather than a toy that gets thrashed around like I have done with my previous cars (Lancer GSR, Nissan 200sx, Subaru WRX)

Here's some pics of the AFMs before I sprayed them with Contact cleaner ($27.95 a can!). The element carrier is orange/red in colour, but mine as you can see are almost completely black!

It took no time at all to remove the AFMs. I cleaned the elements by spraying contact cleaner through the gauze and onto the element. Left them both for the rest of the day while the cleaner completely evaporated, then refitted them.

Why clean your AFMs? Improve throttle response and driveability is what Im expecting.

Brake cleaner can also be used but as it leaves oilly residue, contact cleaner is best for cleaning your AFMs.
