Very cloudy today but it stopped raining for Us to rent a couple of motorbikes and ride to Patong. The Euorpean owner of the shop was there and was kind enough to drop the price down to 180Baht per bike (2 other shops wanted 200 each)
Well it didn't last too long, 10-15 minutes into it and just outside of Karon Beach, Jen and Bailey went missing. So Mak and I decided to ride back down the hill to see both of them on the side of the road with their bike out of petrol.
So we turned around to go back to Karon and get some petrol but it was up a hill so told Jen and the kids to wait for me instead.
With our luck already down, it started POURING! hahahhaa. I had to stop at a local Tuk Tuk stop and ask aguy to pick up Jen and the kids and also get some petrol for the bikes. Oh well, it was certainly an experience we will never forget. : ) and the owner again was nice enough to refund 180baht because of the weather. So this experience cost 180 + 120 for petrol ($10)
